NG is getting really excited about learning that her Daddy is also her Father and that her Mommy is also her Mother. And that she is our Daughter. It seems to be an amazing discovery to learn these words mean the same thing and she likes to repeat it often.
Today, she said:
"Daddy is my Father."
"That's right, honey."
"And Mommy is my Mother," she continued.
"Yes, Mommy is also your Mother," I replied.
"And I am the Universe."
"No, honey, you are the Daughter," I corrected.
"No," she corrected me, "I am the Universe."
Then I remembered a conversation from last night when my husband, frustrated by NG's very demanding behavior, said to her "You are NOT the center of our universe, NG."
Well, apparently, she is.
