Intimate but sunny, the Glendale Farm Restaurant in Neersville, Virginia serves a variety of foods grown on the premises or nearby ("sourced locally wherever possible.")
We ran into one of the owners, Author Clark, Jr., a Culinary Institute of America graduate, when we arrived. He stressed his commitment to the farm-to-table concept as well as pointed out his early entry into what is now a "hot" trend. (Grandale opened October 1, 2005).
Their fiddlehead omelette is fresh, tasty, and a little bit unusual with a pleasant, almost nutty flavor.
