Sorry that you are feeling down. Ovarian cysts are no fun, my sister gets them. Have you considered using progesterone cream for a few cycles long to give your ovaries a rest? It's mentioned in the book What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause. One gal I know who had cysts tried this regime and she got pregnant one she started trying again. She only has one ovary as well, as the other she lost to a massive cyst.

As for the hysterectomy story, most fibroid can be removed and the uterus left in tact. Since the uterus is part of our sexual organs and it does help hold all the other parts in our abdomen in place, its highly advisable to leave it in place if it can be helped. Fibroids can be treated with surgery, laparoscopic or abdominal depending on the size and locations of the fibroids, or else there is fibroid embolization which is practically an outpatient procedure.

I'm thinking of you, Aliza, at any rate and I'm really sorry your journey has been so difficult. I hope that something really great happens to you in the fertility arena really soon. ((hugs))
