things progressing. closer together - just a bit. more intense. the first more intense one scared the shit out of me and I panicked. then when I realized my body was just dosing out the next level to test me, I knew that panic was not what I needed. I just go into myself, into this third eye place with glowing yellow and orange and think "liquid, liquid" - I don't know why but that was the word that entered my head and it is now a very good word. I've rested, showered, bounced on exercise ball to disco music and had 2 bowls of soup. still able to chat a little but also pausing a little to breathe through the next one. so happy to be able to post this (so sue me). it brings me comfort and anything that brings me comfort right now is a welcome thing. what comforts me may not comfort you. we are all different - that is what I keep reminding myself as everyone I encounter (and many here online) give me different opinions and advice. so scary/strange how all the women I've bumped into over last week (strangers - at mall, in other public places) all say "I have one word for you - epidural." well, maybe, maybe not - we are all so different. well, I'm bouncing on the ball again - bounce that baby down. She's a Brick...House...she's mighty mighty, letting it all hang out. thinking about my hypnobirthing CD next. mom was laughing at me as I was disco bouncing. G. is out mowing the lawn. His way of handling stress. yes, we are all so different. I'll only post again if I feel like it. thanks for being here.
Keep the updates coming if it helpspass the time. I hope everything goes smoothly. I had a dream about you last night, you were the pregnant mother of a teenager. You hair was shorter than the photo. It's just strange to dream about someone you've never met.....

Oh how wonderful, its finally happening!
That ball is a wonderful thing. I lay draped over mine for most of my labour, rocking back and forth.
I hope things progress well and you have a beautiful labour and delivery.
