Yeah, I read that as well and I have found myself buying full fat yoghurt and eating full fat cheese. Hey, you never know!


I'm in my first trimester, but it's going better than my last two pregnancies. I'm eating yogurt by the quart, cheese by the quarter pound, and not denying myself any dairy. I'm not gaining excess weight (to my surprise), but I have noticed my weight distribution in this pregnancy is way different than my last. Not sure if the dairy has anything to do with it, but so far so good.


I had a bowl of icecream a night also! And a handful of chocolates, and usually a hot cocoa too. I did gain about 5-10 extra pounds, but who knows really how many are extra and how many are the breastfeeding fat stores.

fat helps absorb nutrients, this is why it may aid in fertility. my suggestion is only for short period of time. high fat diets will eventually cause health problems.
