That's really interesting that you mention that. When i breastfeed my baby the same thing happens to me. It has really been freaking me out but not enough to go to the doctor about.

Hmmm. That is very interesting. Honestly, I never had that sensation when I was breastfeeding my little girl. However, I also never felt the relaxed feeling they say you are supposed to feel while breastfeeding either. Apparently my "chemicals" don't work at all! hehe. I know all women experience different sensations and react differently to everything. I would definitely ask a health professional. However, it doesn't look like you should worry since Shawnee in an earlier comment said she experiences the same thing.

Could it be a change in blood pressure? That woozy feeling you mentioned sounds like a drop in blood pressure to me.

Interesting. I hope you get answers.

underachieving mom

sounds like a panic attack.

I did feel something similar when breastfeeding and occasionally when I am bottle feeding now. Like you said, I feel like I want to jump out of my skin. I thought it must just be me. I guess it feels kind of like a quick rush through my nervous system. I have no idea why. I usually just stop feeding her and try to get into another position and it gets better. I never recognized any "let down" when I was breastfeeding, but maybe this is my version... I'm glad to hear it's not just me!

I've had this quick rush feeling too, usually just before I begin to pump. It's different than my let down feeling though, more of an upward rush than a let down... but it must be related.

How interesting! I definitely thought I was the only one who was experiencing this. Hope you get some answers!
