Hi, I'm Aliza Sherman, and I am Mom 2.0.
I feel like I'm at the next stage of motherhood. And I'm embracing the mommy side of me along with the marketer side of me this weekend at the Mom 2.0 Summit in New Orleans.
This is the year of me feeling good - good about who I am and what I'm doing, good about my relationship with my daughter - who is now 4 years old - and good about how far I've come since the early days of this blog.
I'm a mom now, and that's a good thing. Finally. After all the struggles to stay pregnant (4 miscarriages nearly did me in), to have a baby, and then dealing with post partum depression, medication, and eventually getting off medication, I can say that I'm at a better place now than I have been in the last several years.
Things aren't perfect, of course. I still have no idea what I'm doing as a mom. I like to call motherhood "The Great Science Experiment." But my daughter is turning out pretty well despite my ignorance and insecurities. And so I just keep on trying, learning, being.
So I'm here, at a social media, blogging, marketing, mom (and dad) summit. And I'm glad to be here.
If you're here, please look out for me, and say hi! I'm the one in the pink tiara and boa. Yes, really.
