I missed "60 Minutes" so didn't get to hear what
Condaleeza Rice had to say. But I would like
to see her testify in front of the 9-11 commission.
I sort of understand the separation of powers
issue but this really does seem like she/the
Bush admin are hiding something. Politics is
too dark for me.
Hey you and your big mouth......Condi's hiding behind the seperation of powers issue is simply bogus. Tom Kean, one of the co-chairmen of the commission, is a stalwart Conservative and even he says that the events of 9/11 are jus too extraordinary for anyone (including the President) to hide behind issues of precedent. For Pete's sake, the Republican's in the House and Senate who are crying about the inviolability of the Executive Branch's rights to privacy are the same folks who inviscerated the Constitution by trying to convict a sitting President of a civil crime (in the Paula Jones lie). If you see them for who they really are (as John Kerry says, "lying pack of crooks") the politics aren't too dark.
