Just saw the movie "W" last night and was reminded of how screwed Colin Powell was in his position in Bush's administration. Sad, really. Because Colin Powell is a phenomenal statesman and human being. His endorsement of Barack Obama proves that Powell would have made an even better president than anyone we've had in recent years or anyone running today.
That said, Colin Powell eloquently articulated exactly why Obama is the right candidate for president at this time. He hit all the right points and delivered them with thoughtfulness and diplomacy.
