as you said their work will speak for itself and although one can call itself a guru or a god or whatever crosses through his/her mind social media can always proove him wrong (if that is the case). That's the beauty of it...there is nowhere to hide - the crowd can get u up, the crowd can make you fall

Above all note if there is any social in their media/hype for although the medium is digital, the ethos and the underpinning power in sales marketing or even social interactions are human.

Lets not forget in a lot of cases its the person we buy not the product.
